Kumarakom, Kochi and Thekkady Tour Itinerary

Day 1
After landing in Kochi, get welcomed by our representative at the airport/railway station. The representative will help you get transferred to Munnar, a place known for its tea plantations, rolling hills, picture postcard hamlets and undulating valleys. On your way to Munnar, visit the cascading Valara and Cheyyappara waterfalls and capture some beautiful moments there. Pay a visit to the tea gardens to understand what it takes to make a perfect cup of tea. Later get transferred to the hotel in a sanitized vehicle and enjoy a drive to the hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stroll around the markets or visit nearby places to witness the beauty of this place. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 2
After having breakfast at the hotel, set out for a journey to explore Munnar. Visit the Spice Plantations and feel the aroma of the classic Indian Spices Spend some time relaxing by the cascading Valara and Cheyyappara waterfalls. Pay a visit to the tea gardens to understand what it takes to make a perfect cup of tea. Click some postcard pictures while wandering around Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, and Blossom Garden. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 3
After breakfast in the hotel, prepare yourself for the next journey towards Thekkady. Upon your arrival in Thekkady, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Depart for a sightseeing tour of Thekkady. Do a boat ride on the Periyar Lake through the Periyar Tiger Reserve and have a chance to see the big cat Later on, you may go for an Elephant ride, Jeep safari through the jungle. In the evening visit to spice garden or take a stroll at the local markets in Thekkady and enjoy the local cuisines. Overnight stay at Hotel in Thekkady.
Day 4
After a lavish breakfast at the lodging, you will head to the wonderful Kumarakom. This town is a gathering of flawless little islands on the Vembanad Lake, Kerala’s greatest lake in South India. It offers a beautiful viewpoint of the emerald green backwaters of Kerala flanked by rich vegetation and paddy fields. When you touch base at Kumarakom, register with the inn and take some rest. In the evening, you will be taken for boating along the lake and bird watching at the sanctuary. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5
Wake up with a delicious breakfast and head to the beautiful city of Kochi, also known as the queen of the Arabian Sea. Get transferred to your pre-booked hotel and proceed with the check-in formalities. After a while, get ready to explore this beautiful city which has a fascinating history, and a great range of influences that can still be seen today. Visit Mattancherry Palace (popularly called the Dutch Palace), Paradesi Synagogue in the center of Jew Town, and the cantilevered Chinese fishing nets along the coast in Fort Cochin. Also visit St. Francis Church, where Vasco da Gama was originally buried in the early 1500s, and the Santa Cruz Basilica which is reminiscent of an iced caked rising up from the ground. Head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6
Wake up in the morning, have breakfast and pack your bags for departure. Reach Kochi railway station/ airport and depart to your destination

When a tour cancels, and it is the fault of The Shoreditch Pub Crawl or one of the freelance guides we work with, we will refund your prebought ticket as well as offer up to 100% of the value of the original ticket price as credit towards the purchase of another tour as compensation. This credit cannot be used in any other way and will not be cashable.
  • Your Request
  • Should you not be able to attend your tour and need to cancel a tour booking letting us know at least 24 hours before your tour, we will cancel your ticket and credit you 50% of the purchase price towards the purchase of an additional future tour. We have a no refund policy, unless we are at fault for the cancelation of your tour.
